Parents beware: Spongebobs money pit

I let my daughter spend her allowance money on this game, despite the in-app purchase warning, because if it costs $2.99 how dependent on those purchases could it be? VERY dependent as it turns out. Jelly is needed for almost everything and yet it takes tons of time doing insipid things (or $$) to accumulate jelly.

Nickelodeon should be ashamed of themselves for releasing an app like this, preying on their young viewers impatience and lack of impulse control. As a parent which is the better message: waste hours and hours of screen time on acquiring a pittance of jelly, or spend as much as $99 to actually play the game.
